Insegnami Italiano, a division of Blomquist-Brunetti LLC, is the perfect place to start. The main objective of our classes, is to teach you at a level where you feel comfortable and are having fun. DIVERTIMENTO (FUN) is the main point of our classes. Through our lessons, you, as a student, will learn about the Italian culture, the beautiful language, and most importantly, how to express yourself. As a beginner, you will learn a lot of vocabulary, read simple stories, and play many games to open your mind to a whole new culture. As you progress in your lessons, you will be able to write compositions, speak about past and future events, stage plays, and much more. Many times our students are the ones that give us ideas of what they want to learn in class. So sit back, listen; always ask questions if you don’t understand, and Parla, Parla, Parla (Speak, Speak, Speak).

La Maestra Nancy Brunetti Blomquist
I was born and raised in Mola di Bari, Italy. I moved here with my family and had to learn the English language and all of its customs. I know how you feel!! It is hard at first, but very rewarding when you start seeing your progress unfold. I have been teaching English and Italian since 1999. I taught at Berlitz International Languages for two years while finishing my Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing Honors Degree with a Minor in Spanish at Northeastern Illinois University . I am fluent in spoken and written English, Italian, and Spanish, and conversational in French. To sum it up, I love languages and have a strong passion for teaching and seeing the everyday progress in my students.

 

Jay Blomquist
From a young age I have been intrigued by all of the possibilities that computers offer us. Besides running Blomquist-Brunetti LLC, I am the Chief Technology Officer for MediaRecall Inc, a media asset management company. I previously worked at The American Academy of Computer Training and Technology where I taught over 600 computer related classes and developed e-commerce web sites for various companies.
